Their sessions will include presentations and practical sessions with lots of opportunity to ask questions.
Race partners the Sports Medicine Clinic at the University of Bristol will be on hand to provide an insight into ‘the runner’s body’. Their expert sports physios, sports osteopath and sports massage therapists will give interactive talks on running injuries, how to avoid them, and how to manage them. They will also be running a free 5-10 minute assessment clinic, where they can briefly advise you on running injuries and performance.
Understanding your body helps you become a better, faster runner, and also helps keep you on your feet, so that you don’t have to take time out because of injury.

What you thought of last years training sessions…
“Thank you for the fantastic training day it was a brilliant and really inspiring day. Having access to all those coaches/physios was amazing value and made such a difference to my training for the 10k. Every time I train I remember something from the session. It really made a difference and yes – I achieved my personal best on the day. An improvment of 4mins from last year! I can’t make the next training day but will definitley be recommending it to friends”.
“I just wanted to say a big thank you to you for putting on the running training day last sunday. I found it so informative and can already feel the benefit after going for a run tonight and applying some of the tips and techniques. Now I can not wait for the bristol half marathon to start.
Many thanks again to you and your team.”
