Day two of the runbristol off-road weekend saw some of the UK's most talented runners competing in the stunning setting of Ashton Court. In its first year back in Bristol, the Cross Challenge was an outstanding success.

Athletes ranged from those taking part in the U11 schools event, to Seniors - with the Mike Sully Memorial Trophy going to Frank Tickner and the Gemma Butler Bowl being awarded to Gemma Steel.

Senior Men: 1st Frank Tickner (Wells City Harriers) 29.56, 2nd Phil Wicks (Belgrave Harriers) 30.08, 3rd Dewi Griffiths (Swansea Harriers) 30.17.

Senior Women: 1st Gemma Steel (Charnwood) 25.26, 2nd Naomi Taschimowitz (Taunton AC) 26.07, Justina Heslop (Clapham Chasers) 26.16.
