runbristol goes off-road
launching the Ashton Court Run 10k and McCain Bristol Cross Challenge
In November 2011 runbristol added a weekend of off-road events to it’s portfolio of races which currently includes the highly successful annual Bristol half marathon and Bristol 10k. The events took place in the grounds of Bristol’s historic Ashton Court Estate. The weekend proved to be a wonderful addition to the runbristol events and included something for every type of runner - from those who took part in the friendly mass race on Saturday, to the dedicated Cross Country athletes who turned out for Sunday's tough cross country challenge, including some of the UK’s most talented runners.
