Race organisers Bristol City Council would like to say a big thank you to the hundreds of volunteers who turned out last year to help make last year's Bristol 10k such a great day ! So if you helped then or are thinking of getting involved this year read on........
Adult Volunteers
Over 200 volunteers are needed who will give up their morning on Sunday 20 May 2012 during the 2012 Bristol 10k race.
Volunteers must be aged over 18 – and will need to attend a briefing session at 8 am on the morning of the race.
Marshalling the route, keeping access points clear, helping and directing spectators to view points and handing out bottles of water, medals and goodie bags to runners are some of the many tasks volunteers are asked to cover. If you think you can spare a few hours and would like to be involved in the fun at one of Bristol’s biggest sporting events then please contact:
Caroline Lewis on 0117 311 2607 or email: run@clicsargent.org.uk
Young Volunteers
Race organisers at Bristol City Council are very interested to hear from organised groups including younger people under 18 – so if this applies to you please contact them via FRsystems on 01782 396113 or email bristol@frsystems.co.uk
The Bristol 10k attracts thousands of spectators and thanks to its official charities, the race helps to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds. For more information about the work of CLIC Sargent see the Charity Pages on this site.
